Copy and Paste

Shows the copy and paste menu in Doodly and explains about how to copy and paste in Doodly.

This document will teach about the proper methods of copying and pasting and what is allowed in Doodly. This is the one item in Doodly that works flawlessly.

Shortcut Keys

This is a combination of keys that can be pressed in order to have a function on the computer happen This document will teach you about the copy and paste function keys. Now all software uses the same shortcut keys but the ones listed below have universal adoption.

Copy = CTRL+C or CMD+C
Paste = CTRL+V or CMD+V

Scene Copy

Doodly supports both in and out of project copy and paste. A scene can be copied from the original project to a different project or within the same project. Scenes can only be copied 1 scene at a time.

Asset Copy

Doodly supports copying several assets for both project to project and scene to scene within the same project. Multiple assets may be selected by holding down the CTRL or CMD keys and individually selecting each asset.

Context Menu

Doodly has a lot of options available with a right click. Right clicking on either the scene or the asset will allow for copying. Right clicking on the scene or canvas will allow for pasting.
