Top 50 Doodly F.A.Q.

I cannot find something in the marketplace or how do I find something in the marketplace?

40. I cannot find something in the marketplace or how do I find something in the marketplace?

This answer goes into an advanced trick using the power of Bing to search the marketplace instead of the marketplace search itself.

Quick note: Google has either banned or removed most of the Doodly/Voomly marketplace webpages. The owners of Doodly/Voomly have either set the webpages up incorrectly or have intentionally stopped Google from searching their marketplace and displaying their webpages. We have tried it for both Voomly and Doodly websites in Google and it failed. We believe it is intentional because while we can search Doodly marketplace using this trick using Bing, we cannot search the Voomly marketplace using Bing which has the same items. If they have stopped it intentionally, it is only a matter of time until they read this and realize they screwed up and didn't prevent Bing from cataloging their marketplace and they will fix that.

Regardless of the reason, this trick no longer works on Google so to use this trick, you must use a search engine other than Google that supports the site: command. BING supports that command or until the owners figure out they didn't block it properly at which point this trick will fail to work on those search engines.

Searching the marketplace is a disaster so while it works, here is a trick to make your searching a bit easier. This method will not solve the searching inadequacy but will make it easier for you to find something by utilizing the power of Bing.

If you use Bing you can type in: site:https://marketplace.doodly.com search-term

Note: (When clicking on this next link, Bing will not show the correct results. You must click in the bing search box and then hit the Enter key and now it will show you the correct results.)
For example, using Bing and looking for food would be: site:https://marketplace.doodly.com/ food

Bing will return the other popular search terms people have used associated with "food" when looking for something in the marketplace and bring you to the bundles the Doodly marketplace has associated with those terms.

For example, Bing returns "Doodly: Cooking 2 SVG doodle images", "Doodly: Eating Habets 2 SVG doodle images" & "Doodly: barista SVG doodle images which are 3 more keyword phrases you didnโ€™t need to think of so that helps quite a bit.

Then you click on each of the Bing links and you will see the bundles associated with that term and just click on each bundle and use your back button in your browser to return back.

Note: Bing is not a very good search engine in our opinion so while this method isn't perfect, it helps and is better than trying to click the View more button 5,000 times in the market place search function to get your result. This method makes it easier and allows you to filter through the terms faster.
